Thanks for the response guys, yea I’ve taking out a cv axle already, watched a couple of YouTube videos today doesn’t seem hard just messy and time consuming, going to do it on a weekend where I have both days free just in case shit goes south for some reason

 

I would go to rock auto / Napa get a $69.00 complete replacement cv, then rebuild your oem one at your leisure getting the cv apart can be a real nightmare sometimes even with all the right tools, then keep the aftermarket one as a spare if you ever need it to redo the other side or break one on the trail.

Also unless your changing the front diff fluid completely, jack that side your replacing up pretty high for minimum fluid loss. You will still need to top off but it will keep it to a minimum and way less of a mess

Fixed! Eff the grass. Been nothing but a pain in the ass and expensive. Still have some in the upper yard. May need to sell the riding mower .

Will need the lower yard grass pulled out and dump rocks all over it.

And yes my little brother is a dirthead. Better than the skid he used to be. He just turned 21, so there's some progress.

Also the fire extinguisher fits perfectly in the dead space behind the driver's side rear seat

 

Yeah just a meguiars clay bar kit. Ideally if you can find the one with 3 bars, it’s just enough for the size of our trucks. I’m going to do mine once it eventually cools off, otherwise you’ll have the heat working against you the entire time.

 

Nice I'll probably head over to my folks and use their garage for shade they've got a west facing garage so plenty of shade throughout the day with the door open

 

This should really piss mother nature and @Nitori off.it is VRT not tire shine if that counts. Haha

Not sure if you have ever heard of Chemical Brothers, but they have a great medium clay bar that will get your vehicle prepped for a full wax detail in like half an hour. The clay bars they sell at places like advanced auto and stuff are so fine that they take many hours to properly prep the vehicle.
