Is there another month, period, where they sold more than 27K?

That's what I was thinking. You'd think they would have advertised it as such, though. That's a lot more impressive than best August.

But consumer reports names it the only recommended midsize. They really like the chopped mini van. Tacoma is last place. However looking at reliability the tacoma is the highest rated of all the midsized, but in last place. I think they don't like it because when driven it behaves like a truck, because it is a truck. Go figure!

Toyota has been selling a number of these trucks to rental fleets like Hertz so don't get too excited. It just means it's not as in demand as people think.

Let’s not overstate Tacoma fleet sales. Since I don’t have actual sales numbers, I can only speculate Tacoma fleet sales make up a small percentage of overall sales. And on the subject of fleet sales, the Coloroado has its fair share as well.

Yes, I’m also aware of those pest control vehicles running around. Still, I’m reluctant to believe the number of Tacoma fleet sales discredits overall Tacoma sales. It’s a small percentage, at best.

Don't forget Napa. The modern day Tacoma is what yesterdays Ford Ranger was

I assumed you meant stripped down 2wd units just to put a hash in the "sale" column but those are TRD trim units.

    A few.
Does that mean we should subtract all the fleet sales used for work and company trucks from the f series total sales?

No, but Tacoma owners need to stop acting like the Tacoma is prim and proper. Toyota will whore them out just the same even in higher trim levels.

You’re obviously exaggerating. I’ll leave it at that.
