    Checking in.

Figured you guys would be about the only people I know who would appreciate the new addition to the fleet.
    2011 Doublecab 4x4.
    "Bought not built" :luvya:

Was supposed to replace the X-Runner but the wife decided she wanted to daily it instead of her Lexus.
She works from home so I get to drive it most of the time.
Just gotta figure out all this newfangled automatic transmission, don't gotta get out to lock the hubs 4x4 stuff. :D

I just noticed the Pelfrey gram aka lostmotorco has come back from retirement. Apparently 1 year is the appropriate mourning period.

Wait, you lost your phone mount and gained a rattle but decided the best course of action was to buy a new mount and turn up the radio?

Hey guys, not sure if any of you are familiar with Kempter customs but they make hitched and even do custom orders.

    https://www.kempterkustoms.com/store-1

I want to get a Padres hitch made using their military appreciation logo. One custom hitch is $140, so I reached out to them to see if they could do a group buy discount and they’re all for it. It would be $75 each if we get 5 total, so one will be mine, and I’m just posting this here to see if 4 other people would be interested in getting one. Here’s what I’d like to get

Let me know if you’re interested, money would be sent to them not me FYI

Not quite- I switched mounts awhile back and must have put it on the floor board and one of my kids must have "helped out" by kicking it up under the passenger seat o_O

    Thanks!
Before I asked I figured I would look around and figure out what that was.
Not having an offroad worthy Tacoma until now, I had honestly never known there was a TW annual gathering and trail ride.
Unfortunately I have a prior engagement that weekend. Looks like the campsite is booked up anyway.

Love Big Bear too, dragged my slow ass garbage up there a while back, hope to get back up there again soon.

I do have to start getting out on the trails more, part of the reason we bought this truck was to have something more road trip friendly then my 87 (because 110hp doesn't cut it). Also don't have any wheeling friends anymore.

So my truck has been throwing out a P015D code for a good while now. It first came up in March, so I took it to a shop since I don’t have any room, or much knowledge on that stuff. so they said it was the O2 sensor being dirty from the dirt, so they cleaned it I guess. Everything seemed fine up until last month when it came on again so I took it back, and they said they had to replace the part this time and that only kept the light off for a couple days, so back again to the shop and they finally checked for a leak in the intake manifold, then removed and replaced the oxygen sensor, and cleaned the fuel system. So the light came on AGAIN yesterday, and when I finally decided to look into it, it’s saying it’s a possible leak and that the sensor by the exhaust. Anyways, it got me thinking that if it could all be because I changed out the exhaust to a mangaflow one, and that it’s somehow messed it all up? I know, it’s my fault that I never really looked into all this myself, or why did I continue going to the same shop, but now I’m hoping that someone would have some insight on all this and whether it could be the magnaflow I installed that’s causing these issues.

Your exhaust is post O2 sensor so it shouldn’t matter. Have you checked your exhaust flange for a leak right after the manifold?

I haven’t really looked at it myself only because like I said, I don’t have much knowledge about all that, but would that be something that was done/caused with the installation of the exhaust? Or is it something I’d be able to notice if I go and check right now? I was thinking of going back to the muffler shop that did the installation tomorrow so they could take a look at all that.
