Only thing I would suggest is using metric fittings. Other than that it does the job. Major difference in the clutch pedal feel. (Natural feel)

For those who are attempting to do this in the future I would just drop the exhaust bracket. Rest can be done easily without removing the driveline.

 

They are metric fittings, except for the coupler fitting. It’s 1/2” and the silver fitting is 11mm.

Me too. Climbed under yesterday. Looks tight but doable. Need time and a helper to bleed.

 

And on that note, where the hell is the hose I need to clamp.

 

See that rubber hose coming out of your brake fluid resi....goes down thru or along the firewall...that one

 

You want the one coming out of the clutch reservoir. The small cylindrical reservoir hanging off the inner fender

FYI, good luck with the fittings on that line. They aren’t sleeves like the stock fittings. I used that exact same part for mine the first time and a week later all the fluid had leaked out. The fitting isn’t quite right for the release cylinder. Some people have used it and gotten it to seat and be fine, but I personally know of 5 or 6 others that had the same issue I had.

 

I don’t know man. I just bought what the list said to. I have yet to install mine but your the first person Ive seen to have a bad experience. Do you think you may have cross threaded yours?

 

It definitely wasn’t cross threaded. I verified when I pulled it off to replace the fittings with sleeved fittings but noticed that the thread on the end of the fitting was flattened. Fortunately I was able to tighten it back up enough to fill the reservoir and get the truck home. The sleeved fittings I use are the same as the OEM fittings and after 190 of them sold and being used, there have been no issues. There is a unthreaded section inside the cylinder that the sleeve fits into to seal the connection.
