So are we done posting pictures of these installed?

I'm on the fence whether to install mine or flip them... :annoyed: I've already installed my Slimline years ago and love it, but feel like this install is next level :sawzall:

Go for it ! I know you didn’t order them with intentions of reselling them. If your seams line up nice then install should be fairly straightforward

I will be completely honest with you... my install was a PITFA. 95% of that was due to me being too scared of taking off too much of the bumper that I would have a gap. So I had to keep putting it on, taking it off, putting it back on, and over and over. Probably removed the bumper 4-5 times for adjustments to make it how I liked it. I found that a small $40 belt sander was my go-to tool to get it super flush and made it possible to make pretty small changes. I probably spent over 10 hours with the bumper but I also had to do the slimline cuts as well and those were just as hard to me.

That being said... I think the time, effort, back pain, and teaching my toddler twins new swear words was 10000% worth it.

Certainly not. I'm just reserving the option for if I chicken out.

I'll probably go forward with it, especially as I see the awesome results from ya'll.

I used a motorcycle jack to roll bumper in and out onto bumper studs as I cut a little more each time. I highly recommend using some type of moving stand. Good luck with install

Hey Lee @SouthernStyleOffRoad, whats your thought on installing the slimline with stock everything (suspension, lift, wheels, tires)? Just read someone said there truck dropped 3/4" but he did have a winch. Will the slimline cause a drop? Plan on a lift way down the road but wanted the bumper asap. Do you have any customers that install these on stock. Love the product and thanks.

I did this but I didn't have the stage 2 or a winch. It wasn't a noticable drop for me. I now have a lift but I had stock suspension for awhile with just the Slimline.

Install them things, they make the truck look so clean!

I agree, the install is 100% worth it. The way it cleans up the front fascia to me is worth a few hours of painful effort.

Most do, but we have seen some people struggle with it as well. I will always respect people who attempt the do it yourself method, it just makes you in touch with the process and your vehicle.

We go above and beyond on our packing, which cost us a lot in short term but I truly think it pays off in the long term.

Personal experience of mine having always owned Fj Cruisers, and been friends with plenty of 4Runner guys. You're usually good with most OEM Toyota setups up to about 90-100 lbs. You rarely will see any type of sag from anything less then that, which works for our Slimline design/stage 2 combo. However, if you're adding a winch I would always recommend in the future getting a little beefier suspension. (This is solely my opinion) IMO, once the winch is added to the front bumper on the OEM setup you can almost feel it pulling the front down, it wouldn't be significant to most I assume but down here on Louisiana roads which are not smooth it makes the car bouncy.

Yeah, most will not see a noticeable drop.

Just a reminder to everyone this is the last day for our Labor Day Sale.

Yea no disrespect. I thought the slimline was more work having remove the bumper skin. If you were able to complete a slimline install you got the stage II
