    A friend of mine had one about 20 years ago. White with pink trim..looked silly but 50K miles and only cost about $3500, bought it from a mechanic friend of mine. He got about 3 years of zero issues until some drunk asshole T-boned him

    I’ve been keeping an eye on shelters but very apprehensive of them. You never know why the dog was surrendered or taken. If it was just my wife and I, no big deal but we have small kids. The foster rescues work with the dogs and find their ‘triggers’ so you are aware of them going in. Some just got dropped off but some were abused and can’t be around water or loud noises and freak out.

    Plus, Boston seems to be almost all pit bulls. I don’t have an issue with that breed, but they are a protective dog and not a great choice when I know my kids will be having friends over. You are correct though, the shelter adoption seems like it’d be much quicker.

    70s would be good. When I did it last time we got to the swim around 10am and it still pretty cool out, maybe 60deg air temp with water temp in 50s. Shrank the ole balls right up and took a bit of moving to loosen back up/ work through all the cramps from the cold ass water.

    Yeah right after I posted that I looked at the hourly haha. Around 60 until noon. Now I'm debating wearing a pair of tights under my shorts to keep things as warm as possible, probably be a game time decision. How far into it was the swim? I know the map will be posted on Thursday, not sure if I want to look at it beforehand or not.
