    Yes, the party lines continued for decades after the crank phone systems had been replaced with rotary dial. With the crank system you were actually generating the electrical impulse with a cranked generator (or whatever the correct term is), and that created the ring on each of the phones on that line.

    Co-worker mentioned Kings Canyon and never having been...now I want to go.

    Sequoia National Forest is only 3.5hrs each way from where I live, and I drove 3.5hrs each way last week on my last camping trip, so I'm thinking I could head out there next week?

    Huh. Oh that reminds me, one of my machinist friends makes faux EGR coolers for the 6.0 that actually help hide a deleted one if you're interested.

    Okay, I'll ask him if he has a set ready right now, he likes to sell one and get the old ones as a core to make another.

    oh I'd like his info but it's gonna be a while before I tear into it... not feeling up to many big projects in the short term. Gonna try and get out to enjoy what's left of summer before fall creeps in

    On the other hand I would like to have my truck ship shape before my Moab trip in November

    @Speedytech7

    I've asked you a billion times, but I can't touch my phone due to the fear it'll corrupt the backup I'm doing right now. Where do you buy those slider mounts?

    Really? Uh well that's not good, lemme see if I can find one with legs. The sliders are supposed to come with the legs the right length for the vehicle and with the ends fishmouthed for the pipe size.

    Oof... that's no fun. Could've been lost, who knows. It transferred hands twice before I got it, then it was on a U-Haul from a TW member moving from Riverside to Sunnyvale.

    I can't find any premade legs, so you're gonna have to buy some 1.75 .120wall round tube and measure and cut them. You can fish mouth them by hand but it sucks and is labor intensive, maybe just buy a tube notcher with the right hole saw bit for your sliders main tube size. Recommended to do 4 legs per side

    I bought everything as a package deal from a member on here, he had a full armor set including front bumper, slider, and rear bumper from Relentless Fabrication. I just don't have the rear bumper, and I don't think I would want one based on the fact none of them have tow rated hitch support.

    So my sliders aren't completely tube, the outer part of it is tube and the inner part of is standard square tubing.

    I'd show you a picture, but it's been since discontinued.
