Mine did awesome last year. I had the rear end try and walk out on me on a patch of black ice on a curve at 50 mph one time in 2wd. I let off the gas and it got right back in line.

On an unmaintained road up at our cabin everyone else took 2-3 tries on all seasons or Toyo AT2s. I cruised up on the first try.

Highway manners on dry freeway leave something to be desired but I’m going to play with the air pressure to see if I can improve that.

Only thing I don’t love about them is that I lost a few mpg and of course they’re not as smooth and quiet as an H/T or less aggressive all terrain on the highway. But with the peace of mind knowing I have traction almost anywhere I go, I’m perfectly ok with it.

    BONE Stock.... I Swear!
Just installed my rear Deaver AAL w/ Overloads and the stock boys are looking tiny, anyone run Falked AT3 or MT01 265/75r16 vs 285/75/r16? the sizes are slightly smaller than a full 32 or 33, and trying to see if anyone has experience with the fitment once I bring the front up to match the rear (about 1.5-2")
    -AT3 285/75 = 32.83"
    -MT01 285/75 = 32.72"
    -AT3 265/75 = 31.65"
    -MT01 265/75 = 32.03"

    Any help would be terrific!

Had 15K on the OEM, was just ready to move on. Truck looks much better now! 265/75/16

This thread is great, especially for those on the fence between 285's and 265s!

Those would look cool on an 80s full size truck. Not so much on a Taco. But whatever floats your boat.

I've seen these on some older tacos and they look good. It seems that everyone is doing the same lift with the same tires so just wanted to do something different .

265/75r16 Toyo Open Country ATIIs, Load C. These things are great and have gotten me through everything I've thrown at them so far. I even air down to 15psi offroad.

Actually looking for a used 5th tire for my spare now in this size if anyone has one.

Got rid of my Hankook DynaPro ATM's for something a bit more...meaty lol.
Picked up a set of Maxxis Buckshot II's off SimpleTire's sale for a really good price!

This is also the same day we installed my 5100's with HeadStrong lift coils, and AAL. Looks so much better!

The Maxxis tires are great in all the wet weather we've had so far, and they're even better off-road. Highly recommend them.
