    Generally the only way to move up is to find a new company to work for. I’ve been lucky and moved from the bottom to the top in 3 years at my current job with a staff of 12...did the same at my last job too.

    However, to hell with working for a medium to big sized corporation. Too much circle jerking at the exec level, and I’m not about to start drinking that koolaid.

    I’m moving to a small startup with my buddy at the first of the year, so we can do our own thing.
