You know its really not that bad. It really is mostly mental. Training obviously is key but a lot if it helps you find the mental confidence to push.

I know it's some thing people "just say" a lot, but you're right. We can all train our bodies to accomplish almost any physical feat that we want. it's just a matter of how bad you want it and how hard you are willing to train to get it.

Which one? I had a 235 for a few years and got then 245 when it came out earlier this year. They are freaking awesome. I might jump up to the 945 next year, not sure yet though. At work we get a once a year 35% off garmin watch promo code so the cost is much more bearable.

Well, weekend went good. Actually had 2 cheat meals (chicken tacos for lunch on sunday) Didn't really want that - but it is what it is.

Weighed in at 208# this morning. Well, so much for slow bulk... Haha. Body rebounds so quickly - obviously gonna be water initially. My carb intake went from 330g to 400g roughly. Protein went up a little - about 20gs. Fats are the same.

Macros are about 400c, 80f, 200 proteins. Calories roughly 3350.

Edit for reference I was 198# on 8/28/19.

I don’t know yet. I need to figure out what features I’m going to need and what previous models are sufficient. I will probably get a used one.
I had a Garmin years ago I liked but I don’t think it was a Forerunner.

The newer ones have a barometer and altitude monitoring which would be nice for training purposes. Especially because I may go out west for a practice run next year. 8,000ft worth of elevation changes at 10,000ft is gonna be a bitch.

I’m trying to figure out if they are like fit bits and do HR, floors, steps etc each day. I’m an accidental over trainer so I need something to prevent me from doing too much.

Definitely do your research. They have so many different lines of watches at different price points. For example, some of the vivofit series watches have barometer tracking but my forerunner 245 which was more expensive and newer, doesn't have a barometer, so it doesn't track floor or anything like that. It uses GPS data for tracking elevation changes while recording activities.
Another thing to keep in mind / check out is if the watch doesn't have all the features or tracking your're looking for, look at the garmin dynamic running pod. I think it's like $70 but it captures an insane amount of data that can be shown on your watch live and in your account online after the fact.

    Thanks I will do that.

I research everything religiously before I buy. Especially when it runs more than $20 lol

That is also a great place to read reviews on garmin (and other brand) watches and gadgets. He provides great honest review of all the different products and goes in depth into basically every feature a watch has.
