Hi, I have a 2007 Tacoma base model that has a full width bench seat that only has one recline position and the seat adjustment (forward backward) is the same for both the driver and passenger since it's one long bench.

Will a seat from an access cab model also work in my base model? Are there any aftermarket suppliers of new seats (not seat covers)?

My local wrecking yard wasn't helpful.

    Short answer : yes
In the 2007 you might have more luck than I did on my 2013. Bucket seats from any 2nd gen Tacoma will bolt right on in. Don't quote me on this but I also think FJ seats and maybe 4runner seats work as well - might be worth looking into.

That being said, my truck has airbags in the seats. Could never get those to work. And there is a pressure sensor in the passenger side of your bench. You will need to take this out and put it in your new passenger bucket, possibly need to recalibrate it. I don't think the 2007 had airbags in the seats, so you wont have to worry about that.

While I was at it I added seat heaters to the buckets I got. Made for a sweet upgrade to my little regular cab

Not that I know of but its literally 4 bolts. Unbolt old seats (4 bolts each), bolt in bench (4 bolts)

Maybe you’re right. I figured the wiring would be tricky but if I ever see a nice one in a junkyard I’ll take a good luck
