2020 arrivals in Ontario.

Any ideas when the 2020’s will hit the dealers

 

When I went to the dealer for my last oil change on my warranty in July, I think the sales guy said October is the earliest for the 2020 taco.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of price hike will be on 2020 models.

For reference, the MSRP difference between 2019 4Runner TRD OR and 2020, after taxes and fees, is ~$3500.

 

I’m hoping the hikes will be minimal.
I really want to pick up a TRD Pro early summer of next year. I love the army green colour but if I can’t find a good deal on one, I’ll go with the OR in desert sand.

 

It doesn't help that recent competitors (Ford Ranger, Jeep Gladiator) are both priced pretty high.

 

While I’d love the Pro, I’d be just as happy with an OR. Let’s see how the prices are when they are announced.

 

October remains the expected time frame for the new arrivals to begin to show themselves.

 

Dealer's may not be willing to discount them again this year due to continued volume we receive.
Pre-ordering is also sometimes needed -- now this year was unique given that high air desert intake seemed to put off a lot of people, but this years model will not include that, so interesting to see how that affects sales.

Very true. I took the lack of sales an opportunity to purchase my TRD Pro today. The dealership sold it to me for just over $52k. I don’t mind the dai so it was a win for me!

That's super weird - as I sell Toyota vehicles and the price you're claiming is well past $10,000 bellow cost, so I'm going to call balderdash on your claim.

Short of something you're not disclosing that price is not possible.

 

That’s okay I have nothing to prove. But I used Exeter Toyota’s price on their pros as a reference and was able to bargain from there. They are selling for dealer cost.

 

LoL -- That's insanity. So they are selling vehicles at a loss?
Doesn't makes sense to me, but if that's their prerogative, I guess that's literally their loss.
