    So true!

The 5.0 is almost paid off; paying the minimum though since it's 0%

    Can't complain about free money.

6.7 is decent too, but the prices are still super high because they're pretty new in the grand scheme

Tried making a bumper with a fence board and 2x4’s, fell off when I drove around the block. Let’s hope I don’t get a ticket for having no bumper.

    Yep!

Just logged into my account...20 payments left, 11,493.93 total!

I did hear her talk about a GT350; told her she's on her own if she wants to upgrade :jerkoff:

I drove across a heavily monitored stateline without a front bumper a few times. No one said shit, I didn't have a grille either

Keep the model you have an add a Whipple? Less than a new Stang and faster than a 350

True; and I just put new Katzkin leather in her car at the beginning of the year.

Whatever she decides to do, it'll be her money that she'll have to use.

I'll buy or lease a car for her when she needs, but as for mods, mod money goes into my own cars

I bought a 6.0l because I do the majority of my own work (save for when I blow out my knee and shouldn't) and couldn't stomach the 7.3l prices. my buddy inherited a low mile 97 from his dad and I think it appraised at $30k !

Ford really fucked up a lot of stuff on the 6.0l but with aftermarket monitoring and updated parts they can be good trucks still. Without aftermarket monitoring you're fucked, though. You could have high pressure oil system leaks that result in power loss and no-start when hot, oil cooler failure, egr cooler failure, high oil temps that result in the computer pulling fuel, bad exhaust/MAF sensors that result in no boost, and the dash gauges won't show a damn thing except stay happily in the middle.

With 500+ ft/lb of torque from 1800-3000 RPMs it is a mean bitch towing my fatass taco, dogs, camping gear, and tools.

    when it's running right :luvya:

Not too familiar with Ford diesels, I just know which one's to stay away from.

Though you can bullet-proof some, for enough $$$ that is.

Would love a diesel, but it's not needed in my life and not in the budget.

I feel that. I could get away with not having one but honestly it's way more comfortable and easier on me to tow the Tacoma than to drive it to the trail head

Having another truck lets you get away with making the Tacoma a dedicated crawler, if you're into that sort of thing.
