Everyone at work has been wondering why I've been bringing the Tacoma in every day; I just love driving it so much it became the daily.

Talked to the service manager here, come to find out his parents own 360 acres of property out by King's Canyon and he was just out there this Labor Day weekend.

Talked about Tenmile road, where to gas up, etc.

Thinking I may go sooner than I planned.

That's a good problem to have. I liked driving my Taco for short distances like trips to work it had way more comfy suspension that my Z or my cruiser and it made fun supercharger noises and accelerated pretty good. But it was a killer on long trips, it didn't make you work hard to drive it or anything, that was all good. But the whole seating position was just wrong for a person with long legs, killed my hips and ankles.

I bought those seat brackets so I can use 4runner seats but have yet to do anything with them.

@BartMaster1234 have you found the right 4runner seats to use, and have you installed any in your truck yet?

I had leather limited 4runner seats in my taco, they uh, were nicer looking. But if anything they were less comfortable than the cloth seats.

Hmmm found an OEM axle on eBay for $70 out of a wrecked truck with 188k on it. Looks good, seems worth the price anyway

Keep working on that, and don't let her read about the value haha. They're selling in the mid 50k region regularly now.

Tell me about it. I bet you don't have any leg room "length" shortage with the Z31? I never needed to position the seat back all the way on my Z30.

I have my OEM bumper. I just don’t feel like putting it back.

That thing has all the room in the world. One of the reasons I like it so much, not many small sports cars with so much personal space. And believe me it's a small sports car, maybe not compared to a Miata but park it next to an M3 or M2 and it looks like a dwarf.

The cruiser has less width and length interior wise for a person, I don't really need it anyway being skinny, but it sits you up so your feet aren't just in front of you, they're also down quite a bit and that helps for tall peeps.

Love my BMW 6 ways for that very reason. I do 8 hour drives between NY and WVa, and just adjust periodically. Makes a big difference.

I like to lower the back of the assrest in the cruiser. Does yours have the front part that comes out to support your legs more?

No, and there isn't really any room to drop the front edge down, because of the double floor that the front mounts on. If I were to do again, I would remove that double panel so that they would sit more flat to the floor.
