So I'm making a smol elevator in my barn because ??????

    Is anyone an electrician?
Or know how much of a PITA the inspections and permits are for electrical work?

I got a quote to run power to my new barn/shed that was ~2k+

I know I could do it myself for ~200 not including inspections/permit costs.

    :(

    Well heck that.

I'm gonna treat my shed/barn as a single plug accessory with a surge protector or some such for a while I guess.

    Probably that's against code...?

I wonder if I need to get a permit before I put anything in the shed?
or just before I hook it up to grid power in a permanent fashion?

Or I could spend more and put a 12vdc solar setup in there... and not have to deal with permits n shit.
Including battery costs, that would run me ~700 bucks

How’s everyone doing? Wish I had made some more progress on my truck so far this year, but I haven’t. I did however just order a Marlin Crawler clutch kit, 4xinnovations motor and t case mounts and my twin stick for my t case. Finally found some nice pedals in the pick and pull and got those in as well. Be yanking the auto out tomorrow hopefully FINALLY!!! I’ve been so tired of tripping over my W56B sitting in my garage lol. Also got rid of the ex cop car and picked this 6spd scion iM up as a daily back in April. Been adding some little mods here and there to that as well. :bananadance:

Also took me a second to figure out how I was going to replace the “one bolt” rear main seal....lol. She’s never been off road I SWEAR!! :mudding:

Got these guys prepped to handle the violent gobs of power that the 22RE produces lol. I must say the 4xinnovations mounts are a MUCH improved design to the trail gear bombproof mounts. Only downside to these would be that they aren’t zinc coated like the trail gears, but I’ll take design, strength and rebuild-ability over zinc coating any day.
