Drove back home today from Charleston after cleaning Moms yard after the hurricane passed by last week and did this. :)

I was discussing the ID of the seat heater wires, that I posted about earlier this morning, with a coworker. He has a mechanic friend, who does alot of vehicle electrical work a short distance from our office. Took a short ride at lunch and met his buddy with the rest of the seat heater wiring harness. Within 30 seconds with a couple of electrical hook ups.....he was able to ID the obvious, positive and negative wires, but also confirmed the secondary red wire as the ignition power wire and the "mystery" white wire as the one which goes to the interior lights, so it illuminates the switch when the lights are on. Glad to have it sorted out, as I was not aware the switch was illuminated, but even happier when I found out it is back lit blue so it matches the rest of the factory switches! I guess this should count as something I did "for" my 3rd generation today! Bill in MA

I had already done the head rests and rear seats previously, so it wasn't a real tedious job. I just took my time, as my OCD won't allow for a half ass job and it was also a wee bit warm in the sun, so I used that as a sorry excuse to wrap my fingers around a few Sam Adams Ocktoberfests later. After I take the console apart to run the rest of the heater wiring harness up into the dash and test everything out this weekend, that will be my next excuse for more beer......not that I really need any! Traded my 18 in and Upgraded. Method wheels, tyger sliders, mesa gashole, bed stiffners,
I had to trim the edge and make new holes in the driver side. I can shoot some pics if you want.

Swapped out squeaky dakars for new dakars with redesigned plastic liner clips.
Also got the ECGS bushing done.

Over the weekend I was able to do the BHLM. I can’t take full credit, I had someone with experience get my headlights apart. I did the easy part of painting and putting back together. No retrofit, just for looks but I love it! Now just to figure out what to do with those bright chrome fog lights...
