Peeled back my drivers fender liner as I was suspicious of what was behind it. Sanded, primed and painted. IMG_20190909_172055884.jpg

MRE's had cigarettes in them till around the late 80's. Think they were in D-Rations.

We had Tabasco sauce (tiny bottle) as well as a coffee packet.

I smoked but never dipped; coffee was my "dip" when I had to stay awake for 4-5 days with a 30 min nap every 8hrs or so.

I run www.reddit.com/r/MRE, I know more than I should about them. They stopped putting those Tabasco bottles in, it's packets now.

Shit, forgot to add the thread here - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2020-lunchtable-meet-moab-ut.628568/

So here's how it came to be, at least my theory of it anyway -

there seems to be a "core group" of people that regularly post here. It was decided to have some kind of meet, I mean so far none of us have been banned so that's saying something with how we are towards one another

With that being said, ideally, I'd want only those mentioned in here but if a 2nd genner or T4R wants to join, I'd be happy to let them post.

Need something this week I can swap in before Friday, would take too long to get them here and reboot them before then

I just remembered I have a cheap parts store CV that I bring with me on trails, maybe I'll just throw that on until I can order a CVJ axle.

Fender liners or the engine skirts? There's a guy on here that makes the heavy duty skirts, maybe he does liners too...can't remember his tag though

Yeah those are splash guards or 'engine skirts' as I've heard them called, the fender liners are what clips to the flares on the inside of the fender and protects the air intake and door seams from getting mud and crap in them.

@FLBAdrian shared some files with me on how to make your own splash guards, which is what I'm gonna do...just cut them out of heavy rubber or something. Mine are torn up too
