Our first washer was a $450 GE. Lasted 25 years. The next one was a Maytag, transmission took a shit after 5 years. Washer cost $600, transmission was $450. Bought the Whirlpool in '12. OEM pump/motor is $130. Easy enough to get to. Once it's drained. I asked the salesman when we bought it about the reliability. He said, Honestly every washer in here from a $400 cheapy to a $1800 top line has a 50/50 chance of crapping out in the first five years. The first fridge we bought was an RCA (GE re-branded) Bought that in '89. Have it in the garage, still running, still keeping the beer cold..... door racks held in place with duct tape. Our Frigidaire SxS, temperature controls go wonk..... Don't think I'll get 30 years out of it.

And appreciate it about the migraine. Still hanging in the background.

Funny you should ask. A guy I know bought all 500 boards from her today. Rumor has it I can go by his house this weekend and buy 60-70 boards from him at the same price. Shit never works out exactly as planned.
He is 15 miles closer though, and, I asked him to measure it. Has to be minimum of 71". We'll see ...

    Shit, I think.
True story: same dude pumped my septic tank (waits for chiidish responses) a couple of years ago. Pops open lid, crams stanky hose in aforementioned tank, walks back to truck and grabs a sammich, comes back eating sammich and says, hey man, how's it goin?
