    @CXYyuppie

    It’s a $40 McTuning and I bolted it directly to the aluminum inner bumper. I used some plastic “washers” to raise it about and inch or so line up with the lower bumper. Also just basic toggle switches in the top of the cubby. Super budget build for the bar set up. Also kinda how I wanted to do it. See how good i could go at a lower end budget. Not something I’ll use more then once in a great while so... :notsure:

    I'm not so lucky. Long family history. But I have everything under control.

    Fluid filmed everything underneath and inside the frame. I live in upstate N.Y. so some protection from the snow and road salt is mandatory. We did four of my cars including the Taco, and three of his. I brought the 5 gallon bucket and type of sprayer they recommend that has a long nozzle. We only used a quarter of the bucket to do seven cars. I guess I have enough for three more years.

    Wrapped this up today after cleaning up some of the peeled black enamel, coating with hi-temp clear, and added the license plate frames for good measure. I certainly knew going into this that it wasn’t for everyone, but I wanted a way to have my own flavor to the otherwise clean SuperWhite w Black trim. Enjoy! (Or not )

    Went for smoked winjets. Maybe the easiest mod yet. Gonna hope the sealant I used works as I like how these look a lot.

    I’m in salt belt as well and this is something I need to do as well before the winter sets in.

    @Mokanic what bulbs for the license plate lights did you pick? I see a bunch of options on the Amazon page you link.

    See if you can find some that self install. They are a pain in the a**. Almost require lady fingers.

    By far the most frustrating thing I’ve done to my truck. I switched to LED license plate lights then back to stock recently.:censored:

    Sorry I didn’t get this sooner. I’m not good with instruction(or proper phrases) so I will post photos later if what I did but in the mean time here is a general description of what I did: I cut them the same length and soldered them together and to a additional wiring and to a harness that would plug into my headlight harness on my passenger side that I was no longer using. I was able to do this because of my HID headlight kit didn’t use the passenger headlight harness. If that makes sense. It’ll be more clear with pictures tomorrow...

    Yea it's my daily driver and we usually take it when we go out of town. Plus having family in another state that I visit multiple times a year doesn't help the mileage. But I love driving it. :D
