I got you dawg. I'll hit you up when I want chunks taken out of my cab mount.

I do know the basics of fiberglass, I've certainly seen enough of it, but I don't have any experience with it. Mold, fiberglass, epoxy, fiberglass, epoxy...wait awhile, sand, fill, sand, paint, sand, paint, realize you fucked up a few steps ago, sand some more, fill, sand, paint

Well duh... Why didn't I think of that?:bananadead:

Laid it down last night so meh... It says it sets in 20min, last night when I went to sleep it still hadn't cured. Pretty sure I didn't mix enough hardner in it.

That was my foam mold which yes I made. Haven't taken a picture of the final result yet.

I want to try and make some polycarbonate lenses for my Lexus so I can retro. From what I've read, fluted glass is terrible for retroing projectors.

Lol, next round. Gotta get gears first. It’s still my daily driver and I put 30k on a year driving all over 3 counties for work. I’m pulling 16 mpg with this set up.

I've been running 315/70/17 for two and half years without regear and its fine. I can still cruise at 80 no problem.

@Usethe2nd here's what it looks like. Still slightly tacky, which I think is the plastic I used to wrap it, then when I took the plastic off after a few minutes and the chemical reaction of the resin/hardner had eaten it and soaked into the resin.

Need to trim and dissolve the foam mold with a gasoline with a trick I learned back in Nam. Gasoline+styrofoam=napalm. :bananadead:
Then see if I can polish this turd. Oooh, yeah it's a turd not an abortion.

man, what does your truck weigh? close to 6k#'s here. I don't want to move up a tire size without a regear. 11mpg most of the time and 13mpg if I don't let it down shift going up hill.

Take all that bulky gear off; IE:RTT.. You've got a garage now. :notsure:

Most my truck weighed on the scale at work with all my gear was 5200 and some change.
