    Cam Hanes is 51.

Although I’m not confident the dude is natural...

I do think the answer is yes... most people are just too lazy to put in the effort.

Tony Horton is a good example of natural at older years. He was 5’10” 170 and 4% when he took the photos for P90X and he was pushing 50.
Hes 62 now and starting to look it after suffering from Ramsey Hunt syndrome a few year ago causing him to lose some mass. Still think the guy looks great tho.

Check out the Hanson's Marathon Method. Great running resource for multiple distances.

With any long distance sport it just takes time. When I started bike riding, 10 miles was a long ride (in 1986). now I am 55 and my wife and I can ride a 20 mile loop in just over an hour and consider it an decent bike ride. Longer is ALWAYS better though! Same with running. Started XC in high school and 8 miles seemed like forever. Now its not a big deal. You just have to slowly build up. And really enjoy the training.

Find and use a high altitude training mask. Since you won't be able to do elevation training it is the next best thing.

I’m currently using Hansens for my half marathon in a few weeks. I love their plans. I’m also rereading their book for like the 4th time.

I regretted not finding them sooner. I was doing 18 and 20 mile long runs marathon training and suffering through them. I really don’t feel excessive long runs are the key to a good marathon time.

I’m going to do two cycles of their HM plan and then do their Full plan For Chicago. I’d like to sub 4 hour. No crazy goals but a decent start.

I was wondering if those masks were worth it. Gonna have to check those out.

So, a co worker of mine brought in a 90 second rice thing and I was curious of the macros. Well, the bag has 250g cooked jasmine rice (100g carbs). He dumped it all out on his plate and I said that looks alot like my serving size right now. So I asked the fiance about how many g's she gave me and she said 300g!! Ohh my lanta... No wonder I gained 10 pounds :cookiemonster:

So, I am going to tone it back to 200g rice. Even though we aren't using the exact rice of that bag, we found our rice and did some quick maffs and well, it's pretty spot on... I am looking for about 75g carbs of rice which is near 200g cooked (not 300g lol).

Fun stuff. This is why it's so important to calculate your foods (accurately too :lalala:)

I think I only do like 42g of rice lol.

I measure everything uncooked/raw. Rice usually doubles and some after cooking so it’s roughly 150g cooked.

I have lots of scratch pads on my counter while I’m prepping for all the maths I do
