Why would there be any difference between the Sport and Off-Road? They both should have the same AC set-up.

Yah I've had 2002 WRX, 2011 Impreza, 2015 Forester (wife's), 2016 Outback (wife's), and 2014 Forester XT. None had good a/c; the outback is ok, but it has tiny vents.

A/C is really good on this truck. Tinting windows down will improve the effects of your a/c.

Florida here too, how long are your trips, and are your windows tinted?

I've never had to run my AC full blast for more than a few minutes to cool the truck off, even after sitting outside all day.

Might need to get yours checked if you have to run it full tilt all the time.

Wow. May I ask how old you are?

Oh BTW, if you've 'seen' cars from the 90's or before, of budget cars, youve seen ones w/o rear vents. In fact I have a '14 RAV limited with no rear vents.

I think they were being funny and trying to get me to purchase the off road instead of the sport

I can attest to the AC suckage in the latest generation BMW 330i. 20 minute test drive and it never cooled off in 102F heat.

They should force automobile engineers to drive their vehicles in Dallas or Phoenix for the entire month of August. That shit will get fixed fast.

Make sure you get the power rear window. You can open the front windows and the rear window and quickly blow out all that stale hot air when you get in the truck.

I do not agree a the non functional hood scoop on the Sport adds an additional 20hp minimum over the OR. :boink:

With mid-90's in August I've had passengers comment that it barely gets cool in the back unless I turn the 2 center vents to shoot right back at them. The AC is OK-to-weak for the rear but great for the front.

It's cold and effective. Much more so than in my '12 DC.
