Yeah the kit will come with a mounting bracket.

I’m running the 4switch ashtray from paranoid and the panel itself is great. No complaints.

Pretty good. I ended up using a few long screws to mount it. It's solidly mounted, but on either side theres a pretty good gap because the radio is narrower. I don't mind though.

    thanks,
this is most likely the problem!
went to ace is the place and tried a rubber washer and it was a no go
i hand torqued it down and it just split around the edges
then i picked up a plastic neoprene type of washer and torqued it down until it started squishing out but stayed in place for now, not sure how long it will last and need to test drive it a bit in stop and go traffic.
would like to find another neoprene that is a bit wider but could not find one at the store i was at
i don't know if its the rubber bushing that is between the frame and the carpet or what the deal is

i am going to throw a TW party if this can finally get written off of the todo list of middle age fixes, i have lived with this for far too long

The manuals got so much more room with the ashtray switch. The automatic shifter is real close when in park and you have to awkwardly reach over it to get to the far side switches. Im gunna end up going a different direction with my switch location down the road

Maybe I can get creative and make a blanking plate or a frame. Just have to see when the time comes. Thanks

Heat index was over 100 Sunday so instead of trying to find the source of the horrible vibrations I get at 70 mph I hung a tennis ball from the garage ceiling so at least I’ll stop backing into the shelves in the back of the garage.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Here's the rubber bushing that I'm talking about. It was a rubber bushing that is sandwiched in between two flat washers and a metal tube. As I recall, the bushing cannot be removed from the seat frame.

My rubber bushing had disintegrated. I could not remove the metal tube or the washers to install a new bushing. So I made a new bushing by "tightly" wrapping F4 silicone tape around the old bushing center tube. I stretched the tape "very tightly" as I wound it around the tube like I was winding it around a spool.

Since silicone tape fuses into itself, it became a do-nut shaped bushing that was wrapped around the post and between the metal washers. It's been holding up since I fixed the seat a few months ago.

You can see the rubber bushing under the driver seat rear seat mount.

    upload_2019-9-9_18-21-20.jpg

The seat bolt is fully tightened. You can see how the washers squeeze the homemade silicone rubber bushing.

    Hey guys,
I bought my taco in June, but I've been too busy having fun with it to post anything:rofl:

In the past few months I have:

    Played around in the mud
    [IMG]

    Replaced timing belt etc
    [IMG]

Pulled a cap from the junkyard, then sold it and bought one that fits right
    [IMG]

Scaled and painted the frame with POR15, Eastwood frame filler, fluidfilm

    Installed some Champion Headlight bulbs
    [IMG]

    Installed an UltraGauge

And this weekend I installed new headlight/marker light/turn signal housings and painted the bumper and grill

I'll probably be back in a few months for another update:transformer::alien:

You mean on a spring over it will increase up travel and decrease lift. Less leafs or thinner leafs the softer it is.

I’m assuming his point is that it will sit Lower. So there’s less to travel before it hits bumps, bottoms out shocks, or physical limit of springs before they want to reverse arch which they don’t like to do.
