I think traction control turns off under 30 or 35 when the check engine light is on. Something like that.

Got my tax bill.
$738 for my Tacoma
$83 for my POS Mazda
$89 for my BMW R1200RT


I live in Fauquier County. I figured Queen Anne County MD is about the same size and demographics. My tax bill there would be over $3800. Glad I am in Virginia.

 

I havent got mine yet, but soon I will.

On my (first) 3rd gen, they both came on together when my Crank Position Sensor failed. I think if there is a CEL, the traction control turns off automagically.

 

I got mine the other day, like $918 and I have an SR5...but I’m in Arlington so that’s what I get for living here

 

So not looking forward to this when I retire and am no longer an OH resident...

 

Except for the fact that Md residents don’t pay a property tax on vehicles.

 

...but oh that piggy back tax probably far exceeds our Personal Property Taxes, especially if you live in wonderful Montgomery County. Glad I moved across the river!

 

Well I guess that depends on how much the individual makes but it varies from 1.25 -3.20 percent . Thankfully I’m self employed and have a good accountant and plenty of deductions/write offs.And I don’t live in Montgomery Co. Also don’t get me wrong this state sucks from taxes to gun laws it’s the worst

 

Got mine too...in New Kent Co. which is billed/paid only on December 5 of every year.

$645 plus $25 for registration for the 2017 Taco;
$172 plus $25 for registration for the 2014 Wife Cruze (diesel PIA)
$59 plus 25 for registration for the 2008 slowly starting to be questionable Civic hybrid
$60.71 for the 2018 6"4" x 10' utility trailer

So compared to what we were getting from Henrico Co. and Newport News, it's less than what 6 months worth demanded it seems (now I'm fact-checking myself...), which also makes me unsure about how it could be that much cheaper living in the country.
Nevertheless it still sucks to pay tax on an item perpetually that you've already bought and paid taxes on the purchase to begin with!

Try to figure out how many times you get taxed on the same dollar earned! It will drive you nuts. You even get taxed when you die! Best not to even think about it. Get your medicinal 6er of your favorite craft brew and think about your next mod! If not let’s revolt! Who’s with me?

 

They definitely do, but even then this is a great deal. Wheels alone are more than $1k new. And tires around $1400. The rock rash and minor balancing issue is what brought the price down a little bit.
