Except it appears as though there isn't a camera underneath, it just uses the front camera but shows the last 10 seconds or so.

 

Tricky bastards lol. Given the level of error, i'm assuming the algorithm expects no real changes of the forward terrain within 10 seconds of you actually driving over it.

 

The dealer/doc fees? Yes - they always claim those are non negotiable. I'm willing to pay it I guess for NOT having to go to the DMV and driving away on day 1 with hard plates (transfer from my '12 Tacoma)

 

This is another good point. They'll take their rotary or DA buffer with shitty, dirty pads and smear crap polish all over the place, leaving holograms in the process.

Question about the up coming 360 camera.. Would it be possible to use it as a security surveillance? For example I work 2nd shift inside a building with no window access. A extra surveillance would be great lol

 

Hey all! 1st time posting but been surfing around gather information since FINALLY pursuing a purchase of a Tacoma. I'm targeting the 2020 Pro in army green, and have been shopping for pricing here in Las Vegas the past week. So far I've gotten one seemingly honest salesperson giving me a $48.5k starting price tag for the Pro, which I can hopefully negotiate down a couple thousand.

 

Good luck with that. Beginning of model year pricing on Pros is usually MSRP at best.

 

Yeah I figured. Worth a shot though, since I'm in no particular rush to purchase. I'm actually looking to pursue more aggressively in December, but wanted to see what I could get at release.

 

You could probably get a discount in north Texas by then. Your area competes for California business so I’m not sure. The local vegas guys can probably give you a better idea on what to expect. Good luck.

 

My expectations aren't too high on getting a killer deal on the new pro's, considering there will likely be a stupid-high demand for them especially in the AG color.

 

Another dealer has just chimed in with some numbers for the pro with some optional equipment that I will be pushing to remove, including a bed mat ($120), bed step ($300), D-rings ($55), and mudguards ($130). Without the optional junk, and including delivery fee ($1,120), the total MSRP is at $47,785. Doesn't specify pricing about MTM or PVM though, so that would likely get the price over $50k

 

Yeah the AG Pro will be tough since you're essentially trying to purchase 1 of +/- 1,250 of that color in the Pro trim. Good luck!
