All this “lowering the helmet to initiate contact” stuff is bullshit.

I want someone to start feet first like the water boy. I wonder what the NFL would do then?

Well, Hopkins got 15 yards for slamming someone to the ground, so I’m sure it would be unnecessary roughness.

Well damn, so much for the Broncos D. Carr never got touched all night. 72 yd kickoff return, garbage time TD, dropped TD in the endzone. Maybe I'll try to trash talk again sometime.

I'll have to catch highlights. Don't have cable so don't get to watch MNF (was too lazy to track down a stream).

Nah. Not sure how I feel about AB coming to the Pats, to be honest. They've already got a bunch of offensive weapons, and he's a drama queen. On the other hand, he likes winning, so maybe a good season combined with the 'Patriot Way' will straighten him out. Time will tell.

I believe you mean 'pash rush'

It'll either go really well or tear your team apart.

The second time he is wide open he'll start throwing his helmet and bitching to Brady

The nice thing about the Patriots organization is that they've shown multiple times in the past that a player will either do things their way, or not at all. So I don't think AB will tear the team apart. He'll either have to play by the Patriots's system, or he'll be warming a bench.

Edit- Look at Jonas Gray; He ran for 200 yards and 4 TD's in one game, then overslept and missed practice later that week and got benched. The Pats never really used him again for the rest of the season (picked up Blount instead) and let him go at the end of the season. :notsure:

KC's going to have to stiffen up their O-line for that to happen. If they keep letting Mahomes get knocked around like Jacksonville did this weekend we're going to be finding out if Matt Moore can carry the team before too long.

Update: The NH local news (WMUR), not known for being the most current in any or all matters, reports AB's number hasn't been assigned as of the 6 pm news this evening.

I think it would be terrific if Ben keeps his 84 and AB gets a new, available number of his choice,,,,,as long as it's not 87. It'll send a message.

And the call is so subjective. A 49er got ejected for helmet to helmet. Then I saw it happen several more times in other games and NO ONE was ejected. Bullshit.
