I’ve been trying to convince myself for a month that I’ll get used to it, knowing I won’t. :bananadead: And I only went 285.

Rustoleum Universal Satin Black is the stuff! I used it on the fender flares of my 1st gen back in the day, fell in love, and use it on basically everything ever since.

That reminds me, I need to do a coat on my sliders...

On the road the ride is the same because the shock is under the load of the truck, so it is just moving where the loaded shock sits. The trade off is you now have less down travel. Where you notice it is when you go over a hole where the wheel has to travel downward, it will reach the end of its down travel faster. I didn't notice anything on the road but noticed a small difference if I was going faster off road over rolling terrain, could tell there wasn't as much down travel.

I've recently removed them and the rears and went with extended travel king 2.5's with new UCAs, now I have the down travel back.

FWIW you can restore them to a point. Mine were pretty bad when I got them and took a sander to the rings, started with 100 grit and worked all the way up to around 6-800 or til you get a finish you like.

Sweet. I'll probably wait until Black Friday to purchase the and the https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/...WurhCXuv5-nku71oOFOLAwaVkunG5NPBoCAc4QAvD_BwE

I'm saving up for all these Black Friday deals hopefully lol. Definitely going to try and purchase some new sliders. looking into CBI's but not sure yet where I'll go yet. Not a fan of chrome on any part of the truck.

Yea I've thought about it, but honestly im so hard on this truck that it's not worth the effort. Someday I'll just put 17s on so I can do 37" tires.
