If anyone is going to be at the Texas State Fair on Saturday, September 28th, be sure to come by the Poultry Building and see me after 2:30pm!

Bring your family out and enjoy some awesome activities courtesy of TPWD! Youth aged 6-17 can enter the free Outdoor Kid's Challenge where they can learn archery, fishing, camping skills, and more! But there is plenty to do and learn for the entire family!

(I may even give you extra swag if I can!)

(Not sure why the link says 2015... but it is for 2019....)

@ETXTacoma I just registered my son for Texas Youth hunts this year. He didn't get drawn last year, so hoping he will this year since he is 16, and not much time left for this program. .

Had to replace the A/C blower motor in the truck yesterday... Its started making this really loud vibrating noise and sometimes a loud knocking noise and it because very annoying very quickly and it was way too hot outside to not have A/C. Probably the easiest thing i have swapped other than a light bulb on the truck! I didnt even have to remove any of the dash and its 3 screws and 1 wire harness.

The old plastic shroud had cracked right down the center and i guess its been like that for a while because the new blower is much quieter on all levels. Seems to be pushing the same amount of air.

Forgot to take pics before i threw it away... I was hot, sweating, and was ready to be done!

    Good luck man!

I have taken mine apart before when somehow a couple of leaves got into it... was super easy and ended up cleaning it really well and once it went back in it made in a huge difference in how it sounded.

However... truck is currently at the local shop getting checked out as I have been unable to diagnose an ongoing issue, but right now it may end up having inner and out tie rods and LCAs replaced as I am on that level of lazy this time of year... waiting on an estimate right now for everything.

But they are checking everything out right now and already sent me one video of the front end...

I'm selling my sliders for a 3rd gen DCLB. They are pelfreybilt bolt on sliders. They were on my truck for 1 year and are in great shape with no damage. I'm located in North DFW. $800

    Truck stuff
I've had my truck 3 years and had the blower replaced 2 times already. First time was around 8 months in and 20k miles and 2nd time was around 20 months and 40k miles. Thankfully teh second time it hadn't gone out yet but I could tell it would soon due to the noise. I know its easy as I've done it on my buddys 4runner, I didnt have to do it myself since it was covered under warranty. Really hope this one lasts a long time since I'm no longer under warranty. :fingerscrossed: The current one has lasted over a year unlike the previous 2!

Does anyone know a rough estimate on how much it would be to replace Inner Tie Rods and LCAs at a shop?

Are you able to provide parts? If not LCAs will cost you a pretty penny, and if they are stuck on and they need to be cut off you are looking at a big Bill.
