We do our best to stock everything we can and we have around a 1-3 day fulfillment time. Now since this is a new product line not all configurations where in stock so some peoples orders did need to be built. But we will do our best to make the process quick and efficient :)

You are extra luck because you don't have to worry about the UPS guy you just need to drive on over and get your stuff!

Only have heard good things about 'Marie at HeadStrong Off-Road' I trust you, this girl seems to know whats up!
I gave the wrong part #s and what i wanted to do with my 4runner...she was quick to notice my mistake.

    Funny story...no related.
Wanted to tint my front windows.
Bought a kit, scratched the begeezes out of one side then decided i needed help.
Set up appointment at a local tint place.

Figured...will assist and pull the inner door covers off...along with the window switches.
Neglected to roll up the windows...was in the mid 80s, and left the door covers at home...DOH!
That was about 15 miles round trip X2.
15.3mpg...not that MPG is any concern to me.

Sometimes i overthink and get ahead of the program.

    /cheers
    ...excited

I agree, Marie and the rest of the @HeadStrong Off-Road team are the best! She has gone above and beyond what a company normally does with my crazy requests. It’s fun to spend money with cool people.

    Good morning ELKA Fans!

I wanted to give everyone an update since there will be a little modification to the give-a-way.

Buyers 1-16 will actually be entered into the drawing for $500.00 we included the 16th buyer because each person 1-16 had contacted us around the same time but payments and them providing there users names were a little out of order. To be fair to everyone we extended it. We are also going to have buyers 17 to 26 qualify for a drawing of $250 back on their order. We will continue the give-a-ways for every 10 buyers after 26 as well.

Also, the drawings will be held after all qualifying buyers have received their order in full.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions :taco:

Any ideas for a rear lower shock guard? 'shin guard'
I guess the rubber boots will protect the shock shafts.
How about the lower aluminum section of the rear shocks.
Maybe more a 4runner thing as both the rears are hooked to the front of the rear axle.

I don't like the way some have that little rock deflector that seems like it could be bent into the shock shaft.
I like that fj toy man or that bpf...maybe just cut the top out of the bpf.
    Ideas?

Personally I'm fine with just the boots on the rear of my 4runner, they should work just fine to protect the shafts. Before I installed the Elka I was running another set-up with exposed shafts and they are still in excellent shape.

I used the existing reservoir mounts from the previous shocks, but once I get the spare time I plan to change them out with the really nice aluminum mounts that Elka includes.

I have to say so far I'm really happy with the Elka's and this is not to take from the other brand we were running, but the rear was an improvement for sure (understanding that ride is subjective). With the 4runner the rear tends to want to bounce following the bigger bumps because of the cab weight, the Elka's really shine in absorbing the impact and the rebound feels just right. There's a spot we like to hit going about 40 mph and we have tested the rear with multiple set-ups and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the Elka's.
