Took me a long time to find my pro in manual but so worth the wait. Hopefully you're not too picky on the color because there are ballpark 250 Pros made a year. I really wanted calvary blue or cement for mine. Wanted the upgraded TSS so 2017 was out, and wasn't able to find a calvary blue remotely close to my location but the MT was more important than the color, LB, JBL, Crawl, ECT, etc.

Those are port installed options, good luck getting them to remove them. And you are fighting a tough fight trying to negotiate on an A)2020 B) TRD PRO and C) army green first year color. There will be plenty of people lining up to pay MSRP at first, just like those that paid markup for the 17s, 18s and even first voodoo 19s.

Yup fully aware. Just testing the waters and comparing numbers from each dealer. I'm trying to practice some restraint, but I might be a sucker that will fold for MSRP on the AG Pro :p

I wouldn’t say sucker as pros are never massively discounted like the other trims, dorkel trucks and this years abundance (friend is a regional sales manager and Toyota admitted they f’d up with pro allocation this year, made too many) has allowed some people to score a few thousand off MSRP. You’d be a sucker if you paid markup.

Yeah markup is definitely something that I will be firm in not paying. I'm in no particular rush to snag a pro, TBH. I'd rock with any other color aside from black if I can knock a few thousand off and wait until December. Las Vegas is a fairly small market so I initially anticipate the demand for the AG pros to be pretty high. However, if Toyota secretly muffed up and ordered too much, I may have some wiggle room in leverage.

I think they learned their lesson. It’s how they keep high resale across the brand avoiding overproduction and the need to massively discount.

I think discounts on 2020s will be minimal for the first few months as you mentioned but pros keep such great resale even compared to the other trims id jump on a AG at MSRP if that’s what you want.

So is the Pro graphics package in fact standard this year? Seems like everything I've seen points to yes. Got this screenshot from a local dealer as well. I didn't like the graphics on other colors but I actually think it looks good on the Army Green color, surprisingly.

I think technically even the non tribal tattoo looking ones that have previously come standard are considered black hood scoop graphics. Took a second to figure out the parts number for a new replacement after I had PPF installed on the front.

Ah gotcha. The PVM will be an add-on then.

It's my understanding that MTM = PVM for applicable trims.

Not on a Pro. It is fully loaded with everything. The only option on the Pro is the Desert Air Intake. It even has floor mats.

This is correct. On non offroad/pro models it will be referred to as PVM.

I'm in the same boat - first post as well!. Been 'lurking' here for a few months and prepping for my first Tacoma purchase. I'm also looking at the 2020 Pro but in Black (in Portland, OR). I was heavily considering a 2019 but i know i'll kick myself for not waiting as some of the tech upgrades are ones I'll want. I've been connecting with dealers in the area for awhile but haven't gotten as far as many here. Mainly just "we'll reach out as soon as we have more information."

Anyone else have better luck getting info from dealers in the PNW or tips for getting more out of them? I realize they may not have all that much to go off of yet, but all these updates here make it hard to be patient! ha

From what I've been able to understand, the MTM is just PVM with the addition of the "under carriage" camera (which turns out isn't even under the truck but just a delayed view of what was the previous 10 ft or so).

I like that price too. Given dealers don't throw some crazy markup on you, I'd probably go for that price if I was feeling froggy.

There's plenty of pro's allocated to dealers across the country with full build sheets and pricing so all the information they need is out there. not that it should matter whether you are 100% committed or not for them to provide that info to you, salespeople/managers want commitment more than anything else. So if you havent already gone the route of hammering home to them that you're ready to commit to a deal and leave a deposit for a pro once you have legitimate information, MSRP/selling price/specs. Seem as eager as possible.
If they have a pro allocated but not the color you want they can do a color swap with another dealer that has the color you want, assuming the other dealer doesn't have it sold already and are willing to switch colors. And even if they don't have a pro allocated already they can take an order/deposit, submit it to their Toyota Rep and get the truck as soon as possible.
Also, try to go directly to a GSM or Sales manager rather than through the internet/phone sales reps. The internet/phone reps tend to be less informed on vehicle specs and availability and more focused on getting you in the door than anything else.
Unless you don't care about waiting months on end for your truck, you're gonna want to be the guy that gave them your money first and get the first one allocated to them.

Is that LED bed light optional equipment (standard on Pros)? Factory or port installed? It is a pretty minor new thing so somewhat overlooked, so not really sure of the story on it.
