You're so close to the Sierras too, you have no excuse lol. I would kill to be within a few hours of the Sierra. Gotta drive at least 5 for me to get there.

We get some rubber stuff in at work whenever they ship us rolls of paper. Used to separate the rolls. Im gonna see if that will do before I order anything.

Its more of a spongy material than normal rolls of rubber so idk.

Thats a lot of money though. I can trace my old ones out and be good for $30 or even free if the rubber we get in at work will do.

Not really much offroading to be had in the blue ridge. Too developed. Fire roads arent even really a thing.

Most land on the east coast is like all private property too. Not much free land to explore vs the west coast

Yeah I was gonna say you probably don't even need the files I have lol, if they're in decent shape still just trace them. I'll probably do that too, the files would be handy if I was going to 3D print them or something. My biggest issue with my stock ones is that most of the mounting holes are torn, so I've had to cut new ones and hold them in with zip ties.

Actually it's just one side too, the pass side is still good. But driver's side is beat up from having to remove it to get to the oil filter.

Its definitely worth coming back for just to take a week or more to explore the Sierra Nevadas. Take the 395 from Bishop all the way up to Tahoe and see everything in between (Mammoth, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Mount Whitney, Sequoia National Forest, etc.) it's indescribably beautiful...and tons of dirt roads and offroad trails to explore.

Just a few from our trip up the 395 earlier this winter. This is the part of CA that no one can disagree with

I know you can reach it from the bottom but that's more likely to make a mess and get on my arms/face
