Does it know any good tunes? :boink:

Mine gives sort of an occasional harmonic hum when the truck is pulling a load/accelerating on a hot day. Ive heard others say the same. Its weird, but from what Ive heard, normal.

    This.
I’ve had seven cars from five different manufacturers in my short adulthood so far. Every single one of them had an ac or a pulley that squeaked or whistled at certain times and under certain circumstances. Unless it’s a steady nonstop issue that’s harming functionality or reliability I would say forget it

Known issue. It's a design quirk. Has something to do with the compressor output (tied to engine RPM) and the expansion valve needle position (tied to heat load on the evaporator). There's a certain combination of the two that causes the whistle, which is likely just the expansion valve needle 'ringing'.

You can minimize or eliminate it by turning recirculate on. Once the cab cools down a bit, the noise should go away or be much quieter.

I get a whistling sound if the passenger vents are completely closed.
