No, I’ve been there. Plus I’m a live long surfer. Temporary relocated to the beautiful PNW from San Diego. I would love to live on Kauai

Gun laws suck in HI. But WA making a strong run at idiocy as well. Wife is island native but she refuses to ever move back. I'm in love with the big Island and hate Oahu where BIL lives.

Yea I have family and ranch land(Kona, Waimea, South Point) on big island and I love it there but there’s limited jobs. Oahu is terrible, I live in the country side and even here it’s starting to get bad. The one thing I will miss the most is surfing and the second will be the food.
    Truest statement ever regarding Hawaii.

Waimea is awesome. Loved it there. Kona was ok. The swimming with Manta Rays was awesome though! We really loved the northern side of the island though. Nice and green. We didn't get to see much of the Eastern side of the island due to the volcano erupting though.

Whelp. First issues / damage with my AR500 targets last weekend.

    12" diameter, 1/2" thick gong:
    Cracked top center mounting hole
One of the two hanging ears broke off where it attaches to the gong.

    Torso:
Mounting hook bent, and now can't be removed from the torso. Butane torch to heat it, straighten it out?

Anyone in the Seattle that could reattach / weld those up? More than happy to pay for the help.

    I reload.

Is it the single stage or one of the more progressive ones (i really dont like Hornady's naming for their presses)? If its a progressive one then id be all over that. If its a single stage...would probably just depend what all it comes with.

Im not a huge fan of single stage presses personally. Good for some stuff but gets annoying after awhile. I have a Dillon 550 and a Lee Turret press.

Progressive, i guess I might be buying a reloader. I need more space.

What else should i look into for resizing and cutting .223 brass for .300

Honestly....just buy processed 300blk brass IMO. I did the whole making it myself from 223 brass and its meh. Time to do it all just wasnt worth it for me. its like 120-140 pre 1k of ready to go 300blk converted brass.

But if you really want to do it yourself....

    1) Youll need some sort of small cutter. I used one of these and built a "stop" for it to cut the cases where I needed 2) Then you get to resize the now cut cases....so just need a sizing die.
    3) Then you get to trim it to length. So youll need a cutter of some sort.
I have some WFT (worlds finest trimmer) for 223 and 300 blackout. They now have a model with interchangable pieces for different calibers and thats probably the route I'd go if buying again (wasnt available when i bought)
I also have a RCBS Trim Pro-2. Its not bad just hand powered. I also have some of the 3 way cutters for it that deburr and chamfer at the same time.
    4) Depending on your cutter, you then get to deburr and chamfer (again if your cutter doesnt)
    5) Then you are good to load!
