We just go this used Tacoma in. Its an 05 with a lift. As soon as we got it in I went and checked it out and took it for a ride to compare it to my 09.

It has a spacer lift and blocks in the front. The spacer in the front is like 4-5" big!!! Never new spacers were that big, or is this some other kind of lift??

Anyways, the only Tacoma I've ever driven is mine with the Icon stage 3 lift. My truck drives and feels sooo much better. You can really tell how the spacer lift is a lot rougher and the truck really rolls around the corners. Whereas with mine, it feels glued to the road and corners like it was on rails.

thats a 4-6 inch lift. i see the trailing arms or whatever they are called on the first pic drop bracket lift right?

 

must have a db. those uca's are at a fine angle

 

Surprisingly they don't look too bad

 

i have never seen a 4-5 inch spacer lift, not saying that some idiot wouldn't make one up and i would also think that any 4-5 inch spacer lift would drive like crap, in fact any lift that high without being a drop bracket lift i would think would drive like crap.

 

look for a manufactures name on it tomorrow.

How do I tell if its a drop bracket lift?

 

Looking straight on at the truck's front end, you'll see the crossmember that is right underneath of it.

 

those 2 are drop brackets see where it says procomp on the black one. it drops the front diff for the 4x4 down and gives lift

 

Its a drop bracket setup. Prob 6" look at underside closely
