Very happy with my Softopper! So..here's the whole story- And, this will address others' questions of discount codes or sale prices. I called Softopper directly and asked if they ever offer a discount. The woman on the phone said that they do not, however they do sell returns that they receive, at a discount. I gave her my specs, and she proceeded to check her inventory. After a very short hold, she returned saying they DID have the top I was looking for, and noted that the only thing "wrong" with it was that it was slightly dirty. She proceeded to tell me that this top would have the same warranty as new! She offered to knock $100 off! So, originally $749 + shipping, ended up being LESS than $700 SHIPPING INCUDED. I was skeptical...a little bit...should I have spent the extra on NEW? Would this be ok? All of my worries were put to rest today when it arrived- I can't even find where it's dirty, and every single part, piece, and component was included, and in new condition. I couldn't be happier! The perfectionist in me will mess with the canopy and adjusting straps and velcro to achieve as close to drum tight as I can over the next couple of days. 20190910_160658.jpg

Man...... talk about a climate change.... if you aren’t from CNY, you won’t understand but Mexico NY gets about 200+ inches of snow a year. I worked in Oswego at Fitzpatrick (Nuclear Plant) for a long time. Hated making the drive that way during winter.

I’m actively looking for jobs in Virginia and North Carolina right now. Can’t take 20 more years of this weather....

Good family friend worked there Tony V. I think he was the head of the safety department. Back when I was a kid in the early 80s we'd fish in that cement area right next to the reactor . The fish loved it there because the warm water , there would always be a shit ton of guys fishing there, it was like a giant concrete pool right near the shore of lake Ontario .
