I'll prob make templates when it's finished - lots more to go... it will be enclosed on all sides, recessed paddle latches, LineXed and have aluminum S-track hold downs

I’m sure it will be awesome. You did a great job on those ultimate mirrors, this should be a cake walk!

Someone asked a bit back about my switches. Went budget and semi stealth... tucked them on the bottom of the cubby. Plan on only keeping it to three so not worried about being able to fit more.

How hard is it to pop the cubby plastic out?

Not bad, one 10mm bolt and two screws. Drop the bottom cover under the steering wheel and then unscrew the back of the cubby.

Now IF you plan to do switches it is tight as shit and probably wouldn't do it again. I just got it in my head that’s where I wanted them so that’s where I put them.

Removing for anything else, super easy.

I got me one of these: https://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-push-switch-panel-for-toyota-tacoma-2016-2020/

    Says this:

    "
This plate is as easy as 3 steps to get you an additional 3 CH4X4 TOYOTA PUSH SWICTHES.

Step 1: Pop out the trim by simply using a pry tool to get the clips off, the entire front plate will come out.

Step 2: Remove four corner screws that are holding the cubby to the front cover.

Step 3: Align the CH4X4 Push Switch Panel for Toyota Tacoma 2016-2020, using the same screws you removed from the cubby attached to the front cover."

But I am not holding my head right, I just need to take the trim/cover off, not take the cubby out(????)

I don't do well with plastic dash stuff if you know what I'm saying.

I got them from a buddy. I didn’t see a brand on them. Even though they were new.
I would imagine something from Amazon man.
