Still breaking mine in. I ordered mine with REM and then sent for cryo. My truck had been at the installer for a few weeks and I was ready to go pick it up this past Monday but I had a spontaneous pneumothorax (lung collapse) and had to wait to be discharged to pick up the truck. Literally 30min after they removed the tube from my chest I was at the shop getting into it for the first time since gears and suspension were done. So far I would say nice- shifts the way it should've from the factory. Had complete suspension done so my attention is split between the two.

I will be doing a "build thread" soon for anyone interested, but taking care of my health and preparing for a trip to Colorado, Utah, and Idaho.

PS thanks to @JoeCOVA for his advice.

Thank you for a amazing update. Are you liking how it is not hunting gears as much?

Drives awesome now. I’m significantly weighted down more now and the truck doesn’t even notice

I'd like to second the gratitude and will do so again when I do my build thread.

I was looking for a mid-sized truck that behaved like one and was capable offroad for camping/exploring. I've driven Toyotas since high school and am probably one of a handful on here that had the honor and pleasure of driving a hardened and highly modified Hi Lux in a two-way shooting range overseas (see avatar).

I've almost got my 500mi on my gear break-in and the transmission shifts very predictably. I'm not running larger tires as most of you, but my BFG AT's @ 235/85/16 on stock rims in 6th gear on flat/gentle inline, there is no hunting at 65mph and engine is turning about 21-2200 rpm (per gauge). The suspension really compliments the gears/engine combo- King 2.5ext/adj w/700lb springs and rear 12" w/adj on Archive's HH, relocate and Deaver Exped St 2.5 (custom). Empty is firm but incredibly smoother than OEM w/E-Rated BFGs.

So I found my unicorn and will thank all those that helped, from fog lights, gassholes, suspension, winches and gears.

Tomorrow is my first day back at work after laying in the hospital with a tube sticking out of my chest for 5 days, then I'm heading (for a few weeks) to Idaho (to see my son), Colorado, and Utah to just drive around and stop for a beer, food and bag time so I can wake up and do it all over again.

Are you guys running synthetic or heavy duty Lucas in that weight? I can’t seem to find Lucas synthetic in 85w-140.
