Did you end up using this switch? I am about to try to install mine and had a question about wiring the switch. There are two wires from the LEDs that are run to the switch in the cab, and four wires on the switch. Looking for direction on how to have the switch look and act to as close to OEM as possible. Thanks

Matt, I have both the Bed and Hood lights. I love them. Great products.

I'd like to change the switch for the Hood Lights to a "pin" switch. Do you have a recommendation for a specific pin switch? Can you advise on how to wire one?

    Thanks in advance Matt.

Any feedback from any of the owners of the bed lights concerning tree branches / brush in the bed? My concern would be branches rubbing under the rails and ruining the LEDs.

Full disclosure I have a cover but,
The branches would have to really get in there good as the LED strips are attached to the bottom side of the bed tracks, up against the bed walls.
Check out the install video in post #1090. Right around the 4:55 mark it has a really good shot of where the would be positioned, up and out of the way.

Also, there is a thick clear rubberized coating over the actual LED's, so they are well protected.

I bought these a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed them in all sorts of scenarios which makes it frustrating to experience that I only have a few lights that actually light up on each strip now. Obviously here in Vegas they have experienced some hot temps over 2.5 summers and I have a bed cover which may or may not add to the heat in the bed. Has anyone else run into this issue? Maybe it isn't heat related at all?

Can I just replace the LED strips themselves and leave the rest of the wiring in place? I also have the remote which I use all the time - I don't see this as an option anymore.

Did anyone get the cool white and wish they had gotten warm white? Or vice versa.

Just ordered cool white and some of the pictures look super blue.... Little concerned I won't like them as much. I though they would match my other LEDs better than warm white. Appreciate any feed back!
