Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
Added axle housing to list of things I've cracked today.

    I think I'm up to:

    Axle housing
    Coil Bucket
    Front Frame crossmember
    Core support
and probably a few other things I'm forgetting.
Good luck. Check by the front body mounts too. If you wheel hard it'll just keep cracking, or start cracking in different areas. Only real solution is to cut it off and fab a new one. :sawzall::welder:

Just got finished reorganizing my trucks receipts, from newest to oldest. I’ve spent way too much on this thing! :spending:

It's actually not in bad shape at all, just needs some love. New struts, locks if you care to lock it, I never have, and the brake light is hanging down from the top, sun faded. It's a great shell. No cracks

So it’s been 2 days since I cleared my P0330 code. It has not kicked back on. Could it have been a faulty code?

The computer set a code because it saw something from that sensor that it didn't like. Could be the wiring, could be the sensor. There's a tiny chance it could be the computer, but that's pretty unlikely.

For what its worth, I get a cat converter code every time I drive down a bumpy road. Clear it and it stays away till the next bumpy road.

The system is not easy to bleed but it will become rock hard as soon as it is completely bled. Russel Speed Bleeders help a lot. There is also a valve on the BPV valve that needs to be bled in addition to the four corners. In my case (Tundra calipers) the BPV valve was bad so that it was impossible to bleed until it was replaced and water kept getting into the rear brake cylinders. I also put a speed bleeder on the BPV valve.

Edit: I watched a video where a guy filled (and bled?) the MC before he installed it on the vehicle. It can be difficult to bleed the MC if you start completely empty.

Anyone of you guys recommend a lesser of the evils parts store brand CV axle?

One of my OEM ones needs a new boot, so I'm going to throw a parts store one on while I wait for the high angle CVJ boot kit to arrive. Then I'll swap that one back in.
I have a camping trip planned this weekend so I don't want to grab the cheapest axle I can find and have to do another swap on the trail. Not planning on doing anything really technical but still.

Basically the 2 options I have available close to me for same day pickup are Duralast Gold at about $80 or A1 Cardonne 'Remanufactured' (most expensive @ $130). Not sure if that means remanufactured OEM or not.

Napa isn't really an option since the closest one to me is over an hour away.

I used Moog 555 inner tie rods when I did mine about a month ago, seems to be holding up well. I got OEM outers though, if you can I would go OEM on those.

Make sure you get new boots for the inner tie rods too, my kit didn't come with them and I found a small hole in both when doing the job. Had to seal it up with silicone since I didn't have much other choice, but I should have ordered new boots when getting the parts.

Oh and ignore that suggestion from Rockauto about using a pickle fork...use a pitman puller instead.
