LBJs look very good at 127k miles, had a safety check on them, just visual though i think
if the techs know what they are doing
i told them how horrific it can be if they go when i am hauling it

as many holes as i hit anymore on the pavement at very high speeds i am concerned, but would there be noticeable grease leaking from them?

Just lift the front end off the ground, don't have to take the tires off.

if mine had that much play in them i woulda been a goner with some of these holes i hit at 70 or 75
and no way to avoid most of them, some stretch across the whole road, mostly on bridges

Fuck, I've gone down the rabbit hole again. Reading into building an entire engine management system is super interesting but I won't get even halfway through an article before having to research a concept it presents that I need to understand to move forward. It's slow moving work but I'm glad I poked through all of the documents in the ECU manual because now I know I can run both MAF and MAP and assign which attribute both affect. I'm shooting for the snappiest throttle response and correction for boost that I can obtain, the MAF is mostly going to control low engine speed fueling and the MAP will control high load enrichment. I can blend the two as well for certain ranges, but I'd have to observe a reason to do that like a misreading under certain conditions. I'm actually using two MAPs but one is just going to be open to atmosphere as a barometer for atmospheric correction. Why couldn't school have been this interesting?

That's how I felt about reloading ammo; my girl goes to UC Santa Cruz and she talked about how great their lab is. She looked at me one day, going through my notebooks, and reloading for new ladders, and comparing the SD's from the last ladder test at some 100 or 200 yards. She says "you know you're practicing science right?" She loves it, but sometimes it can be a chore.

I told her not to ruin it for me lol I never cared for school, and barely did 1 year of college. Just wasn't for me...
