It wasnt like I was able to go there and help.

 

I was in elementary school, 5th grade, old enough to know something really scary happened, but not old enough to see the ripples until I grew a bit older. I remember being angry, wondering why someone would do this: take that many lives, to prove a point, I could never figure out what point was worth proving with the loss of that much innocent life. I still wonder that when I hear about "terror attacks", "bombings", and "mass/active shooters". Why? I ask knowing there will likely never be an answer.
