    What’s up Cap!

Currently driving on a bare minimum 99 Xtra. Have been since I was 15. I’m 32 now. It was recently injured (by a gd PT Cruiser) and that’s actually the only pic I have currently uploaded so prepare for a gut spasm. I’ll get some more endearing pics up. It’s a total loss but I’m keepin her since it’s still very much drivable and also my first vehicle/love.

With the insurance money, I plan on putting a down payment on a newer TRD OR because it’s damn well time I treat myself. So I’ll be on the two taco system. TTS, if you will.

I live in the S Lamar area and love it.

I love Bacon. ALL BACON. Not turkey bacon. Because it’s not bacon. I miss that restaurant that used to be on Lamar that was simply called ‘Bacon.’ Chicken and waffles with a side plate of bacon and a lone star tall boy = perfect breakfast.

OH NO!! I'd say "partout" but @CedarPark might have other suggestions (i.e. FLATBED!) for your '99.

You planning on getting new or used? I know a guy if you're going new - inventory manager at Autonation has the hookup to get any trucks he wants, and they don't make you put down a deposit. Otherwise...good luck hunting a used one - they don't stick around long.

We've an active group (as you may have noticed) and meet often. Stay tuned here and the TTC Thread (I just tagged you from it) for meet details.

You're not far from a lot of us (although I'm a bit further south at Slaughter/Manchaca). We'll definitely keep an eye out for you!

Flatbed don’t seem like a bad option :hattip: welcome

I only suggested flatbed because the T4R community can only handle one tube-framed first gen.

I’m exploring both new and used right now. Since I’ve been driving that truck for 17 years, I have a strong urge to buy new and just take care of it rather than go used. I kinda fell in love with the new TRDOR in cement.

I appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks for the warm welcome!
