After 4 months of looking at lots of trucks. from shady owners to questionable mileage I finally pulled the trigger on this 2003 Trd limited with 92k original miles from an awesome family with the service records to prove it:) best part I only paid 7000 I plan to drive this truck indefinitely and can’t wait to get the ball rolling on some minor modifications! (I want to keep it as stock as possible) first update this morning was new tires! Excited to gain some knowledge from you all!

Wow nice find OP! That’s a steal, have fun with your new truck! 4x4 I assume? If so that makes it even more of a steal. In my area those trucks with nearly 200k mike or over people are still asking over 10k for it.

Looks like your patience and perseverance paid off!

I thought your tires looked more aggressive in the first pic. What did you get? Do you intend to get new wheels too? I ask because my orig steel wheels on my 04 are looking pretty beat.

    Nice work!
    Shine ON!
    Pete.

Great find and stellar price. I've got a 2003 DC TRD 4x4 with 352,000 and some change on it and it still KBBs for well north of $7K. Keep up with regular maintenance and you should be fine.

My 2003 DC Limited with a cap and 170k miles cost me $11k here in Los Angeles. Same story about shady sellers and mileage before I found it!

Congrats--I also recently got a new Taco as well (had a 2wd before) and same story with shady sellers. You gotta do your homework or as much as you possibly can. At 7k you couldve done a hell of a lot worse too

Nice DC (my favorite Taco) but whenever I see a nice looking Tacoma I really want to look at the frame. I have a DC now with a good frame but my first Taco was AC and not so good frame but I did get some welding skills out of it :)
