Hey guys, so this was my last big road trip from this summer. The route was Fort Collins-Devils Tower-Grand Tetons NP-Yellowstone NP-Glacier NP-Waterton NP-Banff-Lake Louise/Lake Moraine-Jasper NP-Whistler-North Cascades NP-Seattle-Olympic NP-Mount Rainier NP-Crater Lake NP-Reno-Salt Lake City/Land Cruiser Museum-Fort Collins. Luckily my buddy from high school and his fiance came out for half the trip. Was a hell of trip but unfortuntely the most expensive one yet due to truck repairs. Anyways, i'll update this as well as i can.

Teaser pic to start just outside of Glacier NP

It took a couple days for my friends to get out here from Michigan to Devils Tower so I was sitting around Fort Collins for a couple days waiting for them to Wyoming to meet them there. Once they got to the Badlands NP I took off for Devils Tower where we met up. Had a great time since I hadn't seen them in years and it was great to catch up!

Once we saw Devils Tower we left for Jackson Hole and Grand Tetons NP. We got caught in a herd of bison which was cool and then a huge deer came to visit us at night.

Then this happened. My new CVJ axle exploded so I went into Jackson to pickup a new CV axle and swapped it out at camp that night.

Once we saw the Grand Tetons we headed to Yellowstone. Probably the busiest national park i've been to but still saw some cool sights.

Left Yellowstone and went up to Glacier NP and had an awesome campsite right outside the park.

Left Glacier NP and crossed into Canada! A lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Went to Waterton NP and Calgary.

Once leaving Calgary we headed over to Banff and then all the way up to Jasper. Saw Banff, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Colombia Ice Fields, and Jasper NP. I didn't realize how touristy the entire trip was but it was still beautiful and had been on my bucket list for a while.

Left Washington to check out Portland and Crater Lake NP. Got some VooDoo donuts and then headed down to Crater Lake NP. Didn't realize how blue the water was at Crater Lake. It was gorgous!

Leaving Crater Lake I headed down to Lassen Volcano NP and then to Lake Tahoe/Reno area where my throw out bearing went out and I had to get the clutch replaced which ended up being a two night stay in Reno. Figured I would rather get it fixed in Reno rather than breaking down in the middle of nowhere Nevada.

All in all the trip was one that i've been wanting to do for a long time and it was incredible. The trip ended up being 5,500 miles in 23 days. After this trip the truck has been to 46 states and 41 U.S. national parks and 5 Canadian national parks. Obviously i'm not the best comentator and all my pics are only taken with an iphone but I like to share my pics with the forum and show how I use my truck.

Great pictures! Did you do any hiking around Jasper? That’s the best way to get away from the crowds.

Unfortunately we didn't get around to too much hiking around Jasper but we did notice that Jasper seemed to have the least amount of crowds which was a nice break from the Banff area.

That area is one of my favourites, some great hikes up into the alpine.
You survived biking in Whistler? My kids love riding there.
