After looking at some more pics, I'm inclined to say no but a test fit is always the deciding factor. This Wilwood caliper is longer than 13WH/14WA calipers. I'll see if I can very my friend to snap a back end of the wilwood mounted on his OE 17" so you might be able to see. As is, I think the 13WH runs close on a 17" doesn't it? And people have tried a 16" on the larger 338mm rotor? I didn't get much success in my searches

yah I doubt they will fit. the 14WA kit for example does not work on the 17" TRD Sport wheels so I doubt it is going to fit 16" wheels let alone the bigger wilwood calipers.

A few more from my friend's install this past week.

C/O @Iconic_: "So far I'm really liking it. The factory brakes I think are adequate but once you add more weight, bigger tires, and mountain passes into the mix there is room for improvement.

The reason I couldn't wait for the GB to finish is because my 1 year old centric caliper spit out all its seals and my vehicle was no longer drivable. I needed to get it fixed so I paid full price on the kit as opposed to buying another centric caliper in the meantime. I wish I could have waited for the GB but I needed parts ASAP.

Let me know also if you guys have any questions specific to the kit or performance. The pads are still very quiet and pedal feel is improved. I find myself occasionally touching the brakes harder than I mean to since I'm not quite used to it. The awesome thing is this setup can easily handle high temperatures without fading, but there is no trade off with daily driving feel either besides pads costing a bit more than OE replacement pads.

Long story short, I give the kit a thumbs up. RR racing has good customer service and value wise, its the best way to get to the next level of performance."

Yup. FJcruiserforum is the largest I know of. Also many people have migrated to Facebook, so I shared it there as well.

If it helps @the glen @Noahs2015Taco and myself @nudavinci64 are all in if we hit at least 10. If there are 3 more interested then were set. Might have 1 or 2 other guys interested. Like a few folks if it was a 16" I would prob have a few more. We are all running or will run 17" wheels so were golden.

For folks considering it you can get a pair of Stoptech 4runner rotors (what I am running now). Only 2mm smaller than the stoptech kit but easier to get a 4runner rotor replaced on a time crunch or field repair.

Thanks for confirming! Getting close. Let's get 3 more! It's the best deal on a BBK really. You won't be able to get into BBK territory this cheap later.

I get mine in tomorrow. Finally! Due to some head scratching and measurements, the brackets were adjusted for the Aero6- DS sizing. Everyone should have received an update from RR racing.

Nice! I can post up some photos of what James mentioned. I was 1/2 that ran into it and led to them updating the adapter so took plenty of photos sending back and forth.

Just need to bleed the brakes and I’m golden. Been on jack stands for 3 weeks.

Also anyone who ordered do yourself a favor and order speed bleeders before install. I added those to the wilwoods and rear drums.

You can also swap in the T4R backing plates ( some modding required to fit the caliper) if you want the protection, etc.

Also other note if you have TC gussets you will most likely need to trim the top part as the extra metal prevents it from lining up. A few minutes and a grinder fixed hay issue.

I did order new rotors but have been out of stock (dba 4000 T3’s) but already had the 5th gen T4R setup so have old rotors on for now. (Stoptech sport)

^^Looking good. Just got mine shipped two weeks ago with Russell speed bleeders pn #639540. Remember do not over torque those little bleeders. So many neg reviews for user error lol. Planning on installing this week
