Seems like everyone remembers where they were on 9/11...I was working with my dad that day and we heard the news on the radio.

At work and watched on tv and listened on radio. A fellow worker was NJ National Guard and he was called up. He was on Staten Island working at the debris station. Didnt see him for 8 1/2 months.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I was at work. My boss told me about the first plane. We all thought it was just a bad accident. We were checking the story on the TV when they showed the second plane hit.

7th grade Geography class with Mr. Beward. One of the other teachers came in and told him what happened and we then watched it live on CNN for the rest of the period.

I was on the way to the doctors for skin cancer surgery. Heard on the radio that a plane crashed into the tower. At that that time they didn't know what was happening. Later in the recovery room a nurse told me about the second plane. For you kids were still in school, I was already retired 18 years but I'm not old.

Davis is still 4 hours one way. It is the same distance roughly as AOAA, so I'll just wait until then. Unless something closer pops up before then.

I was in Vo-tech messing with hydraulic systems. I was ironically having a "dog fight" with a friend that was also using the controls as a cockpit. It wasn't until we got on the bus to return to school that we learned of the second plane. I'm not going to lie, that is what motivated me to join the Army. In essence that day has defined very much who I am today for better or worse.

At that time, I was employed with a nursing home (electrician) working on hallway lighting. The far end of the hallways had sun rooms with tvs for the residents. Nursing staff were all huddled in the sun rooms when the second plane hit. Never will forget the gasps, crying, hugs etc from the women. Wrapped my arms tightly around my family that night.

Wow, that's a while to think back, but I was in Mr. Olsons 6th grade history class. He just told us about it, but not too many details. We were not allowed to watch any of the newscast, I assume to not freak us out.

I need to grab some new lugs as my current are too much of a bitch to use on the trail. I went with regular lugs a couple years ago when my locking tool broke. They require a thin walled 3/8's socket. I want to replace with a good spline drive. I have been looking at SCS or Gorilla Lugs. There are more than one size though and I want to make sure that i get the right ones. I have the TRD beadlocks from the baja packages. 16x7.5 4.5 bs.

On the SCS website I can only seem to get the M12 1.5ET. I am pretty sure from a discussion months or even a year ago that I need acorn style lugs. Thanks to anyone able to answer this without me having to use that google thing.
