Once i was told lenses with more than like 10x zoom were not allowed. I had brought in my 300f/4L. The guy asked what level zoom the lens was - I said it is zero, because it doesn't zoom. He looked at me funny then let me through. A rule I follow which may be incorrect is this: focal length / 50 = sorta effective zoom.

Today, on That was available as a stick shift?!?!



I knew that certain Fusions were available with manual transmissions as late as 2014, but this is the first time I’ve seen a Fusion of any year with a manual transmission in person!

This was in the parking lot at work; My coworkers seem to love having three pedals! One guy drives a 2007-2010ish Camry with a manual stick shift, and a guy I work with directly has a base model stick shift Mitsubishi Lancer (as in NOT an EVO)!

 

The Camry, which I also realized has leather seats...



I’m guessing the leather seats are aftermarket, since only base models have a third pedal and this one does not have a sunroof. I have seen plenty of Camrys from this generation (2007-2011?) with a factory sunroof and cloth seats, but never one with factory leather seats and no sunroof.

 

I use to live in the same area as them. We used to see them all the time. I could care less, they were always kind of rude to people and stuff. I did however almost beat the shit out the one son in the neighborhood bar.

 

Who almost got an ass kicking? Duane Lee Jr. or Leland?

I loved that show when I was in high school, and now I’m watching it in reruns on WGN.

 

The long haired one. He was talking shit to myself and my friends while we were playing darts. He starting talking about he trains in MMA and can kick all our asses. The smallest one of us had like 60lbs and 4-6 inches on his little punk ass. Never watched the show but they really show their asses around and rub people the wrong way.

I understand that many TV personalities and other celebrities are assholes in real life, but being an asshole doesn’t make someone a bad person.

Bill Cosby on the other hand? What he did makes me never want to watch Cosby Show reruns ever again! And I loved that show when I was younger!

 

Nah these people were straight up not cool people. I guess they thought they were bigger then they were.

 

Yeah, but being “not cool” (like the Chapmans) and being a sociopathic womanizing serial rapist (like Bill Cosby) are still two totally different things...

 

I have ran into plenty celebrities over here. I never bother them or get star struck, I could care less. They seemed pretty cool and nice.
