How is that even possible? Every family member I have that live in Hagerstown spend an hour in there minimum!

The emissions station off 144 is even worse...

I just passed on a clean 4th gen v8 4runner with 187k miles because the frame was so bad. About a month back a lady brought it in for a MSI. Only thing that failed was the frame. I mentioned to her when she picked it up if she decided to sell to let me know, she called me yesterday. I made a offer but she said carmax offered her more as a trade in.

A vehicle with a rotted frame imo is a totaled vehicle so I don't pay much for'em. Yea it can be fixed but frame repairs hurt any resale value. I only paid $600 for my 2nd 04 tacoma with a rusty area on the frame from a fellow Tacomaworld member. I offered her $1200 for that 4th gen because if the frame was beyond repair it would've been a great donor for a v8 swap.

Same truck that you showed frame photos of?

If it is, its worth $1000 if its 4x4, all mechanicals check out, and its under 250k miles.

    Don’t think i haven’t thought about itz

I could not be more stoked with how well this frame patchwork went and how strong it is.

I’m so confident in it, i jacked the truck up by all the areas on and around the patch, just to test the deflection and the welds. Nothing moved. Its not the most gorgeous work out there, but i wanted it strong enough that anyone in ny family can confidently drive it and i know they’ll be safe.

I'm glad Maryland doesn't have yearly inspections but after seeing the junk that's on our roads day after day we should have yearly inspections. I was in a customer's accord yesterday and the driver's seat was like a rocking chair.
