Long Bed FTW! Not the best storage solution for the yak but i dont have a rack for it on the trailer. I also have a solar panel mounted on top of the rack that i may need to relocate.

 

Picked up a sweet battery charger for the truck/trailer! This sucker charges at 15 amps! And it has a lithium option for my new trolling motor/camper battery! Only took about 3 hours to charge my 50aH battery.

And here is the battery that i picked up. Its a lifepo4 battery which is super stable, gets an average of 2000 life cycles, charges faster, can utilize 100% of the charge without risking damage(deep cycle batteries can only provide up to 50%-60% of the rated charge before you start risking damage, regular car starting batteries are good for about 20%-30% of the rated charge, and the life cycles are nowhere near that of a lifepo4 battery).

hahaha. yeah i honestly havent been having the best luck recently. I have caught a few but they are far and few between. I have some good bites last night in some ponds near the house but im pretty sure the hook i was using was too small for the soft plastic i was using and could not get the hook set.

 

So I guess I'm getting back into fishing again. Fall fishing is around the corner! This time I picked up a few things to help protect my gear during the off season...

Went camping again this weekend! Also got to play with the new LED lights on the boat a little bit.

 

Thanks man. I have def spent some money on fishing gear.... when i was getting back into it i was at a store 2 or 3 times a week buying crap. Im at the point now that i should be good up into and possible through the fall fishing season.
