    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some feedback on this. I've searched the forum and couldn't find an answer.

I have a 2016 TRD Sport. I called my local dealer to buy the black OEM overlays for the side "Tacoma" emblems. However, they said that it wouldn't fit. I find this hard to believe but am looking for some first hand experience before dropping $150.

Note: I don't want to plastidip and want to avoid replacements.

    Thanks!

Some of the people that work at Toyota dealerships wouldn’t know a Tacoma even if they were sitting in it.

True story, had my MR2 Spyder in for service and got a call asking where the engine was. Now this was 2000 but still.

Definitely buy off Amazon or eBay if you want OEM. Every dealer has a 500% markup. My dealer had the nerve to quote $395 + install. Hard pass.

Wow... I would not want to go to that dealer for any service.

Picked up my truck after service, half way home, I realized someone had left a Key fob in the cup holder to a different new Tacoma. Dealership was relieved to me when I returned the key fob.

Too bad, you don't want to spend $5 on a can of Plasti-Dip! Works great, lasts.....
